Christmas Time!

     Usually we don't do anything but put our tree up, if that.  But I decided to try and make things feel more 'Christmasy' and get into a more festive mood this year.  Here's what we've done... it's better looking in person.

Kenny's dazzling creation between two trees next to the driveway.  That pink wrapped tree is the first thing you see when you're driving up the holler.

Here are a couple of trees I made out of tomato cages, green tinsel and lights.  They sparkle really cute in person, but the picture is blurry and horrible looking.

This is a crazy flashing star Kenny really wanted.  We hung it on the porch just outside the window, so we're the only ones who can really see it.

 And this is a video of me accidentally hitting the record button right after I had recorded the star in the window.  I fell on the floor - hard.  I hit both my knees and my right ankle and elbow.  As you can tell, it hurt.

This is a light projector that shines on the outside of the house, Stephanie said it was trippy.  You can't see it very well in the video, though - camera phone.
